[Fixed] No Notification Sound

I need your help solving this mystery, since I cannot reproduce the error.

When a new (or improved) bet appears, and no sound plays, do this:

(This is for Chrome, but should work very similarly in Firefox, Edge and Safari)

  • Press F12
  • If you cannot see any Console tab or button, press Escape once.
  • Press the “Console” tab/button if needed.
  • A bunch of Console messages will show.
  • Select the last few messages (or all of them) and Copy
  • Click on my icon, click Message and
  • Paste the messages to me
  • Also, let me know if the bet at least flashed (changed color)?
  • For bonus points, attach a screenshot as well. :slight_smile:

Hi. I have tried f5 and ctrl f5 evry 15 minets and it dosent works. I have sent you a scrrenshot on the chat.

I’ve released a new version of ValueBetting now which should make sounds play more reliably.

Let me know if it works better or if you still experience sounds not playing!

And if you’re having problems, send me your console logs (see above) so I can help.

Note that Chrome and other web browsers often require you to interact with the page at least once (click something) before playing any sounds.

Simon is it only on valubetting you have done that ore is it in surebet as well.

Just deployed to surebetting now. The highlighting of new surebets (blue flash) should work better now as well. Let me know!

I use edge and no sound on the bets . Should I change to chrome ore something else.

Try Chrome.

I had sound 1 of 5 arbs before. It seems the same . No improvment.

The sound its wurst now after the upate. It works 1 of 20 arbs maybe.

Just released a fix, let me know if it’s fixed now!

The bug only happened when going from no bets to one or more bets found.

If your bet list has at least one bet, notification sounds worked
fine.

Hi @Simon, I want to ask, would it be possible to add some other notification sounds over time? So that the user can choose which one he prefers? I have other applications and this notification sound in RB confuses me and I always have to check the tab to see if it is a notification from RB or someone else. If it is difficult to program and implement, then my request is irrelevant and I will get used to it. Thank you for your reply and have a nice day.
