Should we cash out?
If for example in bet365, our bet value are around 4.5% and the CLV% is at 3%, if I have a 10 dollars bet and given a chance to cash out 11 dollars, should I do it? Since it’s already a guarantee 10% profit there. Also note that if we do this, we could “dumb” our account down so as to not get limited too quickly.
What are your thoughts on this?
I don’t know about the not getting limited as quickly part, but cashing out is generally not a good idea. If they are offering you to cash out for more than what your stake was, the odds have moved in your favor by a lot.
4.5% of the value comes from valuebets which have a negative return as well as a return much higher than 10%.
By closing all bets that give you a 10% return you are closing your chances for a higher return → you may reduce the variance, but in the long run your total return will drop from 4.5% to lower values
