Time to start and CLV

Hey guys, what max time to start settings have you chosen? The default setting on Rebel Betting is 300 hours and they say that time doesn’t affect CLV (You might want to increase "Time to match start") but I’ve noticed that if I bet on matches starting within a few hours (let’s say 12 hours), I can significantly improve my closing line value and the ratio between value at placement and CLV is much higher.
Have you had similar experiences?

Yeah but much more important factor is how fast you can turn over your bankroll.

You’d generate more money if you placed your entire bankroll on events that start in 12h with a CLV of 4%, than events that start in 50h with a CLV of 6%.

So that is a thing you should consider more instead of dropping CLV in my opinion. I’m not sure I know the answer to your question either, though

Yes certainly the number of bets is very important, I am a case in which I place many and profitable bets so I am not interested in betting as many as possible, I just wanted to understand if other users have actually also noticed a better CLV if I reduce the hours at kick-off.
Perhaps the rebel betting studies date back to 2020 and are not updated
